Welcome to Pousada De Marchesi !

We are Jacopo and Lilith, an Italian couple who were
traveling the world in search of a better, more comfortable
life. This journey finally led us to the tropical, coastal city of
Ilhéus in the state of Bahia, Brazil.

At the south side of the city, near a beautiful stroke of
beach, we ran into the Pousada Fasani, definitely one of
the most beautiful guesthouses in the state of Bahia.
Luckily we were able to take over the Pousada, adding a
swimming pool, a beautiful (international) cocktail bar and a
quality restaurant to the already impressive and style full
guesthouse.

Along with the constructional changes also came a
different name. What was known as Pousada Fasani to
many has now changed into Pousada De Marchesi.
